RAN TOYS sets two first-party cookies in the browser. Neither cookie stores a buyer's name, email address or inquiry message.
- Visitor identifier. A random identifier named for site measurement. It stays for about one year so later page views from the same browser can be recognized as the same visitor.
- Session identifier. A random identifier for the current visit. It expires after about 30 minutes of inactivity and is replaced when a new visit starts.
These cookies support page-view, product-view and inquiry-path measurement. They are not advertising cookies, and this site does not set third-party ad-network cookies.
Storage that is not a cookie
The quote list is kept in the browser's local storage on that device. It remembers catalog interests and requested quantities so a buyer can continue a wholesale inquiry. It is not an account, a payment cart or a retail checkout. Clearing site data for www.rantoys.com removes that local list. It does not delete an inquiry already sent.
The site may also keep a short-lived session note in the browser so measurement events from one visit stay in order. That note is not a sales record.
What a visit can send
When measurement is able to run, the site may send the page address, page title, referrer, device and language context, and any UTM values already present in the link. Form-start and selected contact actions can be included. The buyer's name is not placed in the cookie itself. Details submitted through the inquiry form are covered on the privacy page.
How to limit cookies and storage
A browser can block or delete cookies, and can clear site data for this website. Blocking cookies does not stop the inquiry form from being submitted. The quote list may not remain on the device if storage is blocked or cleared. External tools such as email or WhatsApp run only after a buyer chooses those links, and those services set their own cookies under their own policies.
